The rutile in this quartz sphere reflects light in wonderous disharmony.
At four inches in diameter, the sphere is remarkably clear, except for
the hundreds of acicular (needle-like) rutile inclusions. The rutile
(titanium dioxide) inclusions are gold and silver in color and pierce
the quartz sphere at every angle. Displayed on a rosewood base, this
