A multitude of minute parallel inclusions present throughout the stone is responsible for this striking effect. These stones exhibit a sharp, well defined eye. I rarely make jewelry for myself, but I made a ring from one of these stones just for me. When the Sun catches it while driving it is hard to keep my eyes on the road!
