THE GEMSTONE PERIDOT

We have noticed an increase in interest and inquiries for peridot, so we thought we'd put up a little information.
Peridot is a transparent to translucent gemstone, seen in various tones of light green and yellowish green. It has a good hardness and durability, and comes in a wide variety of cuts, including cabochon. Pictured here is an unusually large (8 carat) peridot in an emerald cut shape.
