A critical
design theme common to Etruscan style jewelry is the repetition of design elements constrained within a simple or decorated
border. Usually, these elements include filigree work, granulation, and the incorporation of various gemstones. In this
example of one of Talisman's Etruscan style bands, an opal takes center stage with a square-cut peridot and a blue topaz on
either side. This ring was created for a customer who wanted to incorporate these gems as birthstones. Almost any combination
of gemstones is a possibility with this style ring, and other design elements can be incorporated as well.
