Among the
props we manufactured for Apollo 13 was a prisoner of war bracelet
similar to the ones made familiar by the Vietnam War. Here is a still
from Apollo 13 showing the POW bracelet working on Ed Harris' wrist.
The bracelet (a little fuzzy in the photo) had to look authentic, even
down to the soldier's name engraved in a particular typestyle.
